Joining the Military is not an easy decision for anyone to make. Sometimes it is simply just an option for their future and for others; it is because they have no other choice but to join for the sake of their future. For me, I am kind of in the middle of those few who consider it an option and those who have no other choice. Below are top 10 reasons why people join the Military and following after that I’ll reveal my top 10 reasons why I have decided to join.

1. Education- The Navy or Air force, whichever I decide to join will provide me an opportunity to go to school with little or no cost. This is my top reason for joining because without this opportunity from the military I would have no other way to pay for nursing school. I do not receive financial aid other than loans because it seems that my parents make too much for me to receive any assistance.

My top reasons go in order from what is more important to me. Although a majority of my answers are the same as why so many others decide to join there are a few that are my own. Even the for the reasons that are the same as the majority, my reasons differ in a way that make sense to me. Like I said, there are various reasons as to why people decide to join, some are the same as others and some differ for their own personal reason.
